| Because of the pandemic, I do support a short term infusion of resources for those Americans in need. This increased support should be targeted to those Americans who most need assistance. My general philosophy is that I support pro growth policies to the economy which lower the need for entitlement programs such as welfare cash payments, subsidized housing, and food stamps. | Let me make this clear. I have not received a dime of support from corporations or unions. But, the Supreme Court has ruled that said support is covered under the First Amendment of the Constitution. I?m not a legal scholar, so, on this particular issue I will go with the wisdom of the Supreme Court. (Clarification: Though, there are many other issues in which I vehemently disagree with verdicts of our Supreme Court) | |||

| #1 Issue! I spent nearly 30 years in the uniform of the United States Army Senior Noncommissioned Officer. As an expert in operations and logistics I have seen firsthand the ebbs and flows of our defense spending. Generally, during Democrat majority the budget was cut, and when Republicans were in charge, those cuts were restored. This is not a way to build and maintain a professional military. Consistent resources, especially those directly related to servicemember training, are very important. That being said, there is plenty to be done to cut down on fraud, waste and abuse. | |||

The federal government has a horrible record when it comes to managing large scale government takeover of what are normally ?states rights? issues. I believe states have the responsibility to educate at all levels. The closer to the student that the administrative decisions are decided, the better. Perhaps, if an alternate solution can be negotiated, those here illegally MIGHT be allowed to stay, but not offered the privilege of becoming a United States citizen. The Democrat Party has been following a immigration policy of importing low wage workers, legal and illegal, which then, they expect to gain citizenship and increase their voter base. This is a horrible policy! Genius, but horrible! | |||
